There is a 5 day lead time on this product!
This is the new IDG 650 dual axis selectable rate gyro! Small 0.7"x0.7" size!!
Features:
- low noise 0.3% 3 voltage regulator LDO
- MCP6004 OP amp in voltage buffer configuration
- 2 axis Gyroscope (X and Y axis)
- selectable sensitivity via solder bridges (440 deg/s or 2000 deg/s)
- Temperature out
- Voltage reference out
- Auto zero function input pin for known still states to zero out to VREF
- extremely small 0.7"x0.7" size
- selectable 90 deg or straight headers for x,y, or z orientation for IMU applications
- quality 4 layer PCB
- passive filtering, bypass caps
- extremely low power consumption
- op amps can source 25 mA per output max
- 3.3 - 6 Vinput

Great for making an IMU!
The solder bridges select the angular rate at 440 deg/s or 2000 deg/s, please choose those before ordering.
You must also choose whether you would like a 90 deg, straight or no header installed on the module.
The following graph illustrates the low bias drift of the Gyro. It also shows the response due to an "air" created vibration torwards the end of the graph where we heated up the chip a little to observe the temperature drift. The beginning of the graph shows movement along the 2 axis's (mostly) and the return to the VREF output voltage. We started this session by triggering the AZ input pin to zero out the outputs to VREF voltage.
As with all Gyro's, the drift gets summed up over time and needs to be corrected with accelerometers, or zeroed out when you are in a known state.
